Ms. Lorena Toirac Couso is a passionate and dedicated tutor who works with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Business, Lorena brings a deep understanding of how students learn and what motivates them to succeed.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, she specializes in bilingual instruction and offers support across a wide range of subjects, including language arts, math, and science. Lorena has worked in school settings, one-on-one tutoring, small groups, and virtual classrooms, always tailoring her lessons to each student’s unique learning style.

Lorena believes learning should be an engaging and interactive experience—not just listening and note-taking. Her approach centers on meaningful participation, asking questions, and using hands-on strategies to help students truly understand and retain what they’re learning. Her greatest reward is seeing her students' confidence grow as they master challenging concepts and succeed in their exams. Her lifelong love for teaching began in middle school and has grown ever since. She’s now fully invested in helping others thrive through education.
